Abstract:Using conventional meteorological observation data,NCEP reanalysis data,etc.,a comprehensive analysis is conducted on the heavy rainfall process caused by Typhoon "Sanba" in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in 2023.The results indicate that the southwest jet stream in the upper layer has a divergent and suction effect,while the main influencing systems in the middle and upper layers are the subtropical high pressure and the eastward movement of the shortwave trough,which guides cold air southward.The southeast jet stream in the lower layer provides water vapor and energy,and the intrusion of cold air on the ground and the formation of a front area in the typhoon trough are all conducive to the circulation situation of this heavy rainfall caused by the typhoon.
