Abstract:In order to study the impact of design rainstorm rainfall hyetograph on critical rainfall in the Wengjiang River basin,meteorological data and hydrological data during the flood disaster period from 2018 to 2022 were studied.The warning flow,critical rainfall,confluence duration,area rainfall and Pilgrim&Order design rainfall hyetograph were calculated and analyzed.The impact of different design rainstorm rainfall hyetograph on critical rainfall was discussed.The applicability of critical rainfall was evaluated and tested using 14 rainstorm data.The results show that the rain peak accounts for 56% of the design rain hyetograph of rainstorm in the main Wengjiang River basin.Different rainfall patterns have an impact on the design flood peak,with deviations of 1.8% to 9.2%,3.6% to 5.2% and 0.8% to 2.5% in the front,middle,and back of the rainfall peak in the main stream basin of the Wngjiang River respectively.The accuracy rate of 14 rainstorm prediction tests reached 85.7%,and the early impact rainfall,watershed storage capacity and river water level also had a certain impact on the critical rainfall.
