Abstract：by means of Landsat TM remote sensing data in 1994 and 2006, interpretation of the change of environmental quality in Fairy Lake resort was conducted before and after exploitation, analysis results showed that: (1) its ecological and environmental protection had been paid more attention, since the Scenic Area was exploited, medium and high coverage area of scenic woodland was an upward trend; (2)the land use types within the scenic area change mainly in agricultural and construction land area, agricultural land area decreased by 7.52 km2, accounting for 3.74% of total area, construction area increased 6.2 km2, accounting for 3.09% of total area; (3) According to satellite data in 2006, the scenic degrees of soil erosion intensity are mainly micro and light, accounting for 98.27% of total area, moderate erosion is mainly concentrated in steep mountainous areas with lower vegetation cover.
