Abstract:Abstract: We have made a comparison between the automatic and human meteorological observation data in Jianyang during 2004 to 2005, and found that the highest temperature in automatic records is obviously higher than that of human observation, the average wind speed in automatic station is greater than that in human station, the extreme relative humidity in automatic station is evidently greater than that in human station, but that there is no obvious difference in precipitation and draught head. The differences in the data of automatic and human stations are mainly due to their respective working theories, observation methods and calculations. Compared with human observation, the automatic observation is more objective, accurate and better tallies with the reality of atmosphere, so that automatic station has evident advantages.
