Abstract：The problem in cableway signal transmission seems simple.As a matter of fact,it exists in many hydrometric stations and affects the automatic control of stream discharge measurement.This paper discusses the basic principle and method used for signal transmission of hydrometric cableway.And a new method that is completely different from the old one is put forward and illustrated,which has practical significance to solve problems in signal transmission of hydrometric cableway.
