Abstract:The regional automatic station that adopts solar power supply generates direct current by the solar panel.After changing the voltage through power control module, one circuit is used for charging storage battery, the other one outputs stable voltage to supply the power for other modules.This power supply belongs to the traditional linear stabilized power supply.Because the current in the transistor is continuous and it always works in the amplifier region, the capability of undertaking short-circuit and overload is poor and the circuit efficiency is low.This paper designs a Buck converter based on the L4960 power switch chip as the core with the features of high conversion efficiency, large current, small ripple coefficient and high stability, which is applied in the development of power supply module for regional automatic weather station.
