Abstract:It is well known that bubbles play significant roles in sound propagation and generation. According to sonar equation and through the study on the acoustic backscatter of the seawater with gas bubbles,this paper calculates the correlation between the backscatter index and the bubble properties including bubble radius,density,concentration and so on. The main objective of the present study is to provide a theoretical basis for the ADCP test and the bubble generating device design.
