Abstract:According to the research on the measuring theory and calibration methods of transmission visibility meter,combined with actual situation that the visibility value measured by the visual is higher than the instrument,this paper suggests that the calibration value should be chose which is a little bit of larger than visual value within a reasonable range when it is using transmission visibility meter.Avoiding as far as possible the deviation of a given Standard Value falls into the negative deviation interval in order to reduce the visibility measurement errors.Meanwhile,it could make the visibility measurement by the instrument getting closer to the visual measurement and making more practical significance for visibility measurement.
