Abstract:During artificial rainfall enhancement operation conducted outdoors,the observation of super-cooled cloud is extremely important.This paper realizes a super-cooled cloud observation recognition algorithm,which is based on multiple means for remote sensing observation of foundation,such as micro-pulse laser radar,microwave radiometer,etc.According to the algorithm,the infrared cloud base height of microwave radiometer is proposed to be used,in order to support the laser radar to better distinguish the cloud layer from aerosol layer and obtain more reliable cloud recognition products.Then the particle polarization information of laser radar and the temperature profile of microwave radiometer can be based to recognize the super-cooled water cloud and make it compared with the simultaneous observation results from millimeter wave radar,thus making the reliability of algorithm verified.
