Abstract In order to systematically analyze the characteristics of heavy fog weather in Qinhuangdao,this paper uses Python as a tool to process the heavy fog observation data of Beidaihe observation station from 1954 to 2020.The matplotlib is used to draw the annual,and hour variation curves of fog in Qinhuangdao,as well as the statistical table of fog duration,providing technical support for business personnel to carry out scientific research.The program design ideas and implementation process have certain reference value for processing other meteorological data.
