Abstract Aiming at the problems of backward technical system,single communication means and inconvenient maintenance of the ground temperature collector in the current ground meteorological observation system,an intelligent soil temperature measuring instrument based on STM32 high-performance processing chip was designed.By building functional modules such as element data collection,data quality control and package transmission,the measuring instrument can achieve real-time acquisition of data such as soil temperature and grass temperature at different gradients,at the same time,it provides Wi-Fi,RS232,RS485 and other communication methods to transmit the message to the upper computer software for data monitoring and product processing.The accuracy of the data collected by the measuring instrument was preliminarily verified by comparing and analyzing the operating data of the ground temperature collector and the measuring instrument.The practical application results show that the measuring instrument has the advantages of stable and reliable operation,high measurement accuracy,high transmission efficiency,and better meets the needs of ground meteorological observation.
