Abstract  Due to the needs of urban development, the new station site of Binzhou meteorological station began to conduct comparative observation on January 1, 2019, and the new station site was officially operated on January 1, 2020, while the old station site was discontinued.By comparing and analyzing the data of new and old station sites, it is concluded that in future meteorological research and data application, the data of Binzhou new site can be used normally without correction. However, in the field of forecasting services, when predicting daily maximum and minimum temperatures and precipitation, it is necessary to be cautious of the differences between the data of new and old stations.
