Abstract On May 2, 2021, there was a malfunction in the magnetic field power supply 2 of the transmission section of the Zhaotong weather radar.With the support of relevant departments at higher levels and the support of radar stations in the province, the radar maintenance and support personnel in a timely manner to locked the fault location, and eliminated the problem, the radar resumed normal operation, this paper introduces the working principle of the magnetic power supply, the process of fault occurrence, the process of fault removal, and the debugging after fault removal in detail, so as to accumulate experience and provide reference for similar radar faults in the future, and provide reliable radar support services for meteorological disaster prevention and mitigation.
