Chemical characteristics and source analysis of atmospheric precipitation in Wuxi City |

Abstract Based on precipitation monitoring data from March 2022 to February 2024 in Wuxi City,analyze the chemical ion composition,precipitation types,and pollution sources of atmospheric precipitation.The research results show that the concentration of ammonium ions in atmospheric precipitation in Wuxi is relatively high.The precipitation type is characterized by a mixture of sulfuric acid and nitric acid,with fixed sources contributing slightly more to acidifying ions than mobile sources,and ammonium ions being the main alkaline ions.Sulfate and nitrate ions mainly come from human activities,calcium,magnesium,and potassium ions mainly come from surface,and chloride ions come from the ocean and human factors.To improve the environmental air quality in Wuxi,it is necessary to strengthen the control of secondary ion pollution sources such as ammonium ions,and deeply manage surface dust sources,promoting the optimization and upgrading of industrial,energy,and transportation structures.
