Comparative analysis of data between DFC2 automatic sunshine recorder and darktube sunshine recorder in Changchun area |

Abstract In order to study the difference between the data of the dark tube sunshine meter and the automatic sunshine meter,the article analyzed the data obtained from the DFC2 photoelectric digital sunshine meter and the dark tube sunshine meter at the Changchun National Reference Climate Station from January 2020 to December 2022,and compared on a monthly,quarterly,and yearly basis.The results showed that from January to March,the DFC2 photoelectric digital sunshine meter was greater than that of the dark tube sunshine meter,and from April to September,the dark tube sunshine meter was greater than that of the DFC2 photoelectric digital sunshine meter,and from October to December,the difference between the two values was relatively small.The data of DFC2 photoelectric digital sunshine meter in summer is significantly smaller than that of dark tube sunshine meter,and in winter,the data of DFC2 photoelectric digital sunshine meter is larger than that of dark tube sunshine meter.When using monthly and annual sunshine hours data for climate analysis,attention should be paid to the differences between different instruments and data bias correction should be carried out.
