Analysis of the applicability of the Xin'an River hydrological model in typical karst terrain |

Abstract In order to verify the reliability of the lumped Xin'an River hydrological model and the distributed Xin'an River hydrological model in the karst landform of Guizhou,research was conducted in the Pingzhai Reservoir watershed.Using data from the Yangchang Hydrological Monitoring Station,simulations and validations were conducted using both the lumped Xin'an River hydrological model and the distributed Xin'an River hydrological model,providing technical reference for the rational operation of Pingzhai Reservoir.The results show that the Nash coefficient and correlation coefficient of the lumped Xin'an River hydrological model are larger than those of the distributed Xin'an River hydrological model during the calibration and validation periods.In terms of percentage deviation,the lumped Xin'an River hydrological model is smaller than the distributed Xin'an River hydrological model.Through comparative analysis,it is found that in the Pingzhai Reservoir watershed,the lumped Xin'an River hydrological model can simulate the actual runoff trend well and has good applicability,while the distributed Xin'an River hydrological model has poor applicability.As the forecast time increases,the deviation between the forecasted runoff and the measured runoff gradually increases.
