| Analysis of the characteristics and influencing factors of atmospheric dustfall changes in Hotan City |

Abstract Based on the conventional meteorological elements from 1990 to 2023 provided by the Hotan Meteorological Bureau,the analysis data of the circulation patterns at 500 hPa in the upper air and at the surface,as well as the atmospheric dustfall data of Hotan City from the ecological environment monitoring station in Hotan region,the variation law and influencing factors of the annual dustfall amount in Hotan City were analyzed.The results show that the annual dustfall amount in Hotan City shows a significant decreasing trend,and the variation of the annual dustfall amount is related to factors such as the weather systems in Central Asia and Eastern Xinjiang,as well as the local convective systems.
