| Analysis of probability distribution characteristics and circulation background of heavy precipitation in Guangdong region |

Abstract In order to study the probability distribution characteristics and circulation background of heavy precipitation in Guangdong region,statistical analysis was conducted on multiyear precipitation data in Guangdong region.Using meteorological principles and methods,the spatiotemporal distribution pattern of heavy precipitation in the region and the circulation background during heavy precipitation occurrence were revealed.The research results indicate that the occurrence of heavy precipitation in Guangdong region is related to various factors such as marine environment,movement of largescale weather systems,and topographic effects.The research results are of great significance for improving the accuracy of heavy precipitation forecasting and disaster prevention and mitigation capabilities in Guangdong region.
