| Variation characteristics of cloud sea in Mount Tai and its relationship with meteorological elements |

Abstract Based on the surface meteorological observation data of Mount Tai Meteorological Station from 1980 to 2010,this paper analyzes the variation characteristics of cloud sea and the relationship between cloud sea and humidity,precipitation,wind direction and wind speed in Mount Tai for 30 years.The results show that the annual average of cloud sea in Mount Tai is 31.84 days,showing the characteristics of inter annual fluctuation decline.When a sea of clouds appears,the average humidity is ≥71％RH,the wind speed is generally not greater than 11 m/s,and it is mainly southerly.The probability of precipitation on the same day or the day before the appearance of a sea of clouds is 62.7％.
