| Research on noise suppression of L-band radar observation data based on signal processing theory |

Abstract L-band sounding radar faces complex noise interference issues in fields such as meteorological observation and aviation navigation,which seriously affect target detection accuracy and system reliability.Based on signal processing theory,this paper designs a comprehensive noise suppression scheme for the noise characteristics of L-band sounding radar observation data.The scheme adopts a three-stage cascade processing architecture,including frequency domain preprocessing based on improved spectral subtraction,time domain adaptive filtering based on the RLS algorithm,and multi-scale refinement processing based on Daubechies wavelets.Through the verification of six months of measured data from a certain 1 675 MHz sounding radar system,the results show that the comprehensive scheme achieves an improvement in signal-to-noise ratio of 8.5-15.2 dB under different noise environments,with the detection probability increasing from 62% to 89%,the false alarm rate decreasing from 15.8% to 3.2%,and the processing delay controlled within 15 ms.This provides effective technical support for the operational application of L-band radar.
