Abstract Based on the base data from three Cband and two Xband weather radars in Ningxia,combined with highprecision topographic data and ground rain gauge observations,this paper proposes a quantitative precipitation estimation (QPE) networking algorithm using multiband weather radars.The networking fusion product was evaluated using data from five precipitation cases in 2023,benchmarked against ground rain gauge records and operational QPE products.The results indicate that the radarbased networking fusion product exhibits good consistency and low dispersion relative to hourly ground rain gauge data;specifically,the root mean square error remained stable below 2.45,and the mean absolute error stayed below 0.24 across different precipitation cases.In conclusion,the proposed algorithm demonstrates superior stability and accuracy in precipitation estimation.
