Abstract The paper presents a meteorology flux observing system based on RS-485 bus. The development and realization of the system structure, hardware design and the software design of the monitoring system are introduced. It has characteristics of the high mobility,big adaptivity and good expansibility. It is widely used to research the meteorology observing of the agriculture,forest,grasslands, traffic and aviation.
