Abstract Inaccurate software requirement analysis is a primary trouble in s uccessfully finishing the development of military meteorological measurement software. In accordance with the main function of measurement software and verification process of military meteorological instrument, in the development of military meteorological measurement software, requirements derived from the verification regulation for military meteorological instrument and related standards, can make up the weakness of inefficiency and fuzzy of users’ requirements, eliminate the impediments between developers and users, improve user satisfaction and the accuracy of software requirements, make sure the quality of military meteorological measurement software.
