Comparative Analysis of Two Different Season Strong Squall Line Weather Processes in Jiangxi |

Abstract Abstract:By using conventional meteorological observation data, satellite data and doppler radar data, meso-scale automatic weather station data and ADTD lightning location data, the jiangxi spring and early winter two strong squall line weather processes which occured at spring and early winter in Jiangxi were analyzed. Results show that: (1) The two squall line processes all have jiangxi typical strong convective weather situation characteristics.The surface meso-microscale system which existed much to the meso-scale convergence lines or meso-scale vortex triggered the squall line. In spring the surface accompanied by the mesoscale temperature front. (2) Physical quantity parameters more than threshold when strong convective weather happened in Jiangxi .Early winter parameters were weaker. (3) Satellite cloud pictures showed comma cloud tail. MCS was stronger and more activity on early winter. (4) ET was higher in early winter squall line,but VIL was bigger in spring.(5) Early winter lightning frequency and intensity were higher than the spring squall line.ice particles were more activity in early winter squall line.
