Analysis of precipitation variation based on wavelet transformation in Laiwu |

Abstract By means of precipitation data in Laiwu from 1957 to 2010,by using Morlet wavelet transformation,multiple time scale features of the precipitation in recent 54 years are analyzed and the mutation is tested with M-Kmethod.The results show that the precipitation in spring presents faint increasing trend,which is opposite to that in summer,autumn and winter.The annual precipitation also appears decreasing trend.Main period of the precipitation in spring,summer and winter is from 3 to 5 years and main period of autumn precipitationis 3 years.
