Abstract According to design principles of multi-functions, various elements and unified models, this new automatic weather station adopts the mature, stable and advanced electronic measurement as well as data transmission and control system. Since putting into operation,it has not only improved the observation accuracy and precision, but also reduced the personnel workload and improved the working efficiency. This paper describes the relevant detection methods for power supply,acquisition unit and sampling channel of the new automatic weather station. Then, based on common breakdowns during the operation, the corresponding attention matters are put forward.
