Abstract With the development of scientifical and technological level in weather modification, and combined with the geographic information technology, the on-site analysis and refinement command for the weather become more and more urgent. According to work requirements and each link that affect weather modification such as operation warning, warning issue, operation command, effect evaluation and information processing etc, the functions and adopted technical methods and indicators of the system are introduced in detail. This paper also describes the overall design, data processing and platform construction of Chengde weather modification control system based on the Super Map GIS.
