Study on the Flow Characteristics in Wind Tunnel for Anemometer Verification at Provincial Metrological Agency |

Abstract A low-speed blow down HDF-500 wind tunnel has transformed on Gansu province meteorological metrological verification agency. This paper studies on the quality of flow field. The calculation and analysis of airflow velocity in test section express that the wind speed has a linear relation with the inverter frequency, and the range of airflow velocity is good enough for the determination of modification. The result shows that the wind tunnel after transformation has a good uniformity and stability of velocity, and deflection of air flow and noisiness also meet the standard, which shows anemometer certification can be carried out on this wind tunnel.
