Abstract The characteristics of meteorological data is professional, complex formatting and being closed in original system.So sharing the data is difficult.Through the Web service technology, those complex tasks such as underlying data access, format transforming and data screening will be processed by the professional person.The data access is encapsulated into Web service and released to external user to invoke.In this way, the user is able to directly face the customized intuitive and understandable data.This method can eliminate data sharing bottleneck caused by complex data format and diverse storage modes, and make it easy for the user to use meteorological data, which will improve the utilizing efficiency of meteorological data and promote the sharing of meteorological information.
