Detection method and analysis of air humidity based on ultrasound |

Abstract An experimental system based on ultrasonic air humidity detection is designed.After 400 kHz ultrasonic wave propagated 36 mm in moist air medium,the attenuation situation is measured.Then,the relational table about the air humidity,temperature and RMS voltage is established.According to analyze the data in the relational tables and curve fitting,under the condition of constant temperature 30 ℃,the relationship between the air humidity and attenuation of signal voltage effective value is obtained.By using the formula,experimental system and digital temperature and humidity sensor SHT10 are measured and compared based on the relative humidity.The experimental results show that the ultrasound not only can detect air humidity,but also can solve the traditional problems about humidity sensor moisture absorption,dehumidifying and delay effect,which will be applied well in the future.
