Abstract MICAPS is an essential working platform for the forecaster.All kinds of data from MICAPS play a constructive role in researching disastrous weather,summarizing forecast indexes and improving forecast level.It will facilitate weather forecaster to reanalyze and research historical data through creating MICAPS database,managing it by management function of DBMS,developing MICAPS plug-in used to view data from database,which can improve working efficiency and meteorological data usage rate.
