Abstract With the development of economic society,our country has reformed by leaps and bounds in the transportation enterprise,which is associated with the increasing requirement of the people for traffic meteorological information.In order to provide meteorological information that demanded by the road traffic,it is immediacy to make the construction and application of the traffic meteorological monitoring system.This paper introduces this monitoring system and describes its composition,characteristics and classification etc in detail.Then,the application of traffic meteorological monitoring system is discussed and analyzed.
