Abstract According to the regulation of lightning protection for general buildings and the characteristics of GNSS/MET station,this paper researches the external and internal protection of the air termination system,down conductor,earth termination,equipotential bonding,shield,reasonable wiring and SPD.The detail lightning protection measures for each link are designed.Practices show that the methods are reliable and effective prevent the GNSS/MET station from being struck by lightning.
