Standardization and normalization degree of ground meteorological observation field is critical to the operating stabilization and modernization level of station operations,and directly influenced the standardization progress of the whole comprehensive observations.Based on the general status of current ground observation fields of meteorological stations,taking observation field of Nanhai national meteorological station as the case,in accordance with relevant technological regulations,the optimization design on all details such as layout of observation instruments,fence,trench,wind tower,communications and lightning protection is conducted.And construction details are analyzed in detail,providing references for standardization of observation field and effectively improving the standardization degree of ground meteorological observation operations.
