Abstract This paper studies and researches greenhouse microclimate instrument from aspects of sensor selection,collector design and GPRS communication design and CPU software design.And the new greenhouse microclimate instrument is designed,which can mainly observe the elements of temperature,relative humidity,illumination,photosynthetic,carbon dioxide,soil moisture and multilayer soil temperature.It has features of small volume,convenient installation and whole observation elements as well as high observing precision.
