Abstract The AIS is a modern radio system that integrates ship navigation,collision avoidance and maritime supervision,which plays an important role in the field of water transportation.The technical staffs from Dalian meteorological information center are obtaining AIS shipping data through WebAPI access.The AIS shipping information data are analyzed and mined,and integrating the application to the meteorological bureau of Dalian business network WebGIS platform.The dynamic information of the ships is classified display.The implementation of this function provides a strong support platform for the better service of Dalian ocean meteorological forecast business.
