| On-site calibration methods for rainfall sensor of automatic weather station |

Abstract This paper first briefly introduces the field calibration methods,laboratory verification methods and relevant standard devices of rainfall sensors.Then,the rainfall sensors of different calibers have selected to compare the field calibration with the laboratory verification by means of laboratory standard devices.It shows that,in the field calibration work of rainfall sensors,the standard value of precipitation selected for rainfall sensors cannot be consistent with the standard value of precipitation selected by the laboratory verification.Under the same environmental conditions,the accuracy of the measurement results of the rainfall sensor may be affected by the difference between the two methods.Finally,some suggestions are put forward to provide technical references for the modification of the field calibration methods and the selection of standard instrument.
