Abstract Based on the visibility observation data from March 22,2020 to March 27,2020 at Haitao Mountain in Yanqing of Beijing,this paper makes a comparative analysis of the variation characteristics of visibility at Yanqing station and Foyeding station.The snowfall weather process is selected to analyze the relationship among visibility change and temperature,pressure,relative humidity,wind speed and precipitation change.The results show that the forward scattering visibility meter is well applied in Haituo Mountain area,and which can monitor the variation characteristics of visibility during snow weather process.
