Abstract This paper mainly introduces the structure and characteristics of the automatic weather station of offshore oil platform developed by Guangdong Institute of Meteorological Computer Application and Development,and gives the site selection requirements and the matters needing attention in the installation of various sensors when installing the platform,which can provide reference for the construction of the automatic weather station of offshore oil platform in the future.
