Abstract Based on the data of the new three-dimensional lightning monitoring system from 2017 to 2019,this paper analyzes the characteristics of lightning activities in Guizhou in recent years from three aspects of time distribution,spatial distribution and intensity change.The characteristics of annual variation,monthly variation and diurnal variation are analyzed in time distribution.The conclusions obtained are expected to provide help and reference for operational personnel in the process of early warning and forecast.
