Abstract The problems encountered in field replacement,maintenance and laboratory verification of ground temperature sensors of automatic weather station in national ground observation stations are analyzed,and appropriate reconstruction methods are proposed.And the feasibility of the reconstruction methods is verified through experiments.By means of analyzing the experimental data,it was found that the variation range of the ground temperature sensor after the modification was within±0.02 ℃,which had no effect on the continuous acquisition capability of the sensor.
