Using Fréchet distance algorithm to analyze key waveforms of weather radar |

Abstract In the daily maintenance or fault repair of weather radar,it is often necessary to measure the key waveforms of the relevant components in the radar,judge the working status of the radar from the key waveforms,or find the cause of the failure.The traditional measurement method is an instant measurement,which has low measurement efficiency and does not store waveform data during measurement.The working status of radar are perceived artificially from the current measurement results.This paper proposes to establish a set of key waveform standard models,with software development technology to get the waveform data and measurement data by one-button click,using the Fréchet distance algorithm for comparing measurement waveform data and standard waveform data or historical waveform data to obtain similarity,quantitatively sense the radar working status and provide a data-based reference for weather radar equipment support.
