Abstract The intelligent and flexible observation,collaborative combined observation,cross-validation observation and continuous tracking observation are realized by deploying X-band small phased array radar to supplement the global radar observation network,which has become an effective monitoring method for capturing mesoscale weather system catastrophic weather processes.This paper discusses the electromagnetic environment,headroom analysis and investment analysis of basic conditions comprehensively.Taking two X-band phased array weather radars in Zhongshan city as examples,the best scheme for radar networking site selection is formed.
