Abstract From the development status of national automatic weather station,combined with the working principle and composition of automatic weather station,this paper analyzes the main factors that affect the reliability of automatic weather stations.In order to reduce the failure rate and improve the reliability,the key technical solutions are studied from the three aspects of power supply design,lightning protection design and integrated design of the whole set of stations,which could reduce the operation and maintenance cost and material waste as far as possible in the large-scale promotion application of automatic weather stations.
