Fine-scale characteristics of temporal and spatial distribution of short-term heavy precipitation in Xinjiang |

Abstract Based on the hourly precipitation observation data of 1345 automatic weather stations including 105 national stations in Xinjiang from 2010 to 2018,the temporal and spatial distribution refinement characteristics of short-term heavy precipitation in Xinjiang were studied.The results show that the spatial distribution of timely heavy precipitation in Xinjiang is very uneven,and the daily variation of short-term heavy precipitation in different regions is obvious,and the monthly variation is inconsistent.The research results can provide a basis for short-term and temporary warning service.
