Abstract Based on the standard format data of the new generation weather radar and the advantages of data stream transmission,this paper designs a system that can quickly monitor the data transmission and data quality of weather radar.The system extracts the echo characteristics of ground objects in the standard format data of weather radar by algorithm,which can accurately identify radar faults,such as the ground clutter interference,the large servo positioning error of the system,and air echo.The characteristics of the same frequency interference echo and meteorological echo are extracted,and the same frequency interference echo alarm is carried out.The system is applied to weather radar data transmission and data quality monitoring business,which plays a promoting role in improving the timeliness of meteorological monitoring and early warning as well as reliability of meteorological radar data.
