Abstract Through the understanding and analysis of the lightning protection status of the Zhaoqing Doppler weather radar station,it is concluded that the direct lightning protection measures of the station are good.However,the inductive lightning protection system has been in an imperfect state and has a great risk of lightning strike due to the influence of many factors,such as wide range of coverage,high technical requirements and large construction cost.This paper puts forward the corresponding rectification method for the inductive lightning protection system of Doppler weather radar in Zhaoqing.The practical application proves that the scheme is effective and provides a reference case for the integrated lightning protection design and construction of Doppler weather radar in future.
