Fault statistics and analysis of CINRAD/SC weather radar in Xisha |

Abstract Based on the fault information recorded by Xisha radar station of Sansha meteorological bureau in Hainan from 2007 to 2020,this paper makes a statistical analysis of the faults of Xisha CINRAD/SC weather radar during its operation.The results show that the servo system has the most failure times.After the DC servo system is upgraded to AC servo system,the stability and reliability of the servo system are improved significantly.This paper analyzes several atypical faults and summarizes some troubleshooting methods,in order to provide reference for other personnel engaged in radar maintenance.
