| Application of X-band dual-polarization radar in hail suppression operation in Hinggan League |

Abstract In order to explore the role of X-band dual-polarization radar products in the shadow operation and effect analysis of Hinggan League,the hailstorm process on June 20,2020 was analyzed by combining the X-band dual-polarization radar products from the shadow base with 713 radar,upper air and ground observation data.The effective detection range of X-band dual polarization radar is preliminarily determined.The fluctuation of basic particle HCL and 45 dBZ echo top height can indicate hail identification.
