Abstract Based on MICAPS conventional meteorological data and Doppler radar data,this paper analyzes the characteristics and causes of the heavy rain process in the southeast of Bayannur on July 20,2021.The weather situation and circulation background are introduced.The influence system and evolution characteristics,radar data and sounding data are analyzed,and the Ec numerical prediction model is tested and the prediction index values are given.The conclusion is expected to provide reference for the development of forecast and warning business in the future.
